Christopher Columbus: War Criminal?
Your Task:
Working in groups, you will choose the role of prosecution or defense and present your case as to whether or not Christopher Columbus is guilty of genocide against the native peoples of North and South America.
You must explain whether Columbus' alleged crimes might be outweighed by the benefit his voyages had on Europeans and the Americas.
Each group will create a glog or prezi that proves their case.

Using the information found on the Resources page, collaborate with the other students in your group, and begin to decide on your point of view, guilty or innocent? Before the end of class, students should choose roles within their group for their finished blog or prezi (team leader, text, video, audio, and host).
Task 3:
On I-pads from the mobile lab, students begin to create their presentation using their gathered research.
Task 4:
Student groups post their blog or prezi to the pad let below. Students will evaluate each other's projects.
